FCNL goes to the White House

This morning a small group of FCNL staff members attended the arrival ceremony of Mexican President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa. Sadly there was no chance for us to lobby President Obama or any of the other dignitaries in attendance. We were merely spectators on the south lawn of the White House.

The event was not much more than the traditional ceremonial welcoming that has been performed thousands of times by differing heads of states over the centuries. It was still exciting regardless of how routine it is.

I suggest everyone read Rachael’s account of the event on the intern blog. She is a much better writer than me, and has much more thorough analysis.
